| Bob Henderson, an OSU graduate, with an Engineering Physics degree, owns a startup company that manufactures a high value aerodynamic device for over-the-highway heavy trucks that he calls the AIRWEDGE (patent pending). Bob’s company, Airman Inc., addresses the last area to significantly improve diesel fuel mileage by affixing a High Value aerodynamically designed attachment to the under side of semi trailers. He calls it the AIRWEDGE (patent pending). Bob, a former driver said , "While driving those long hours, you have a lot of time to think -- my love of aircraft and knowledge of aerodynamics lead me to consider if there would be an aerodynamic solution for the trailer axle area - After all, that’s a huge area back there."
